Every student needs to be in costume for the living history exhibit. Costumes can be simple since clothing worn during the Middle Ages around the world consisted of very plain clothing. Costumes will depend on topic and area of the world the student has been researching. Simple hand-made costumes are great.
Borrowing a costume from a friend, or past La Colina student, is a good way to get a costume. Hundreds of students have done this project in the past and might still have their costume hanging in their closet. |
We have over 100 costumes that students can borrow. Please talk with either Mr. Bergthold, Mr. Marquez, or Ms. Lane if you're having problems getting or making a costume.
Below are standard tunic and surcoat drawings for students who want to make their own costumes. These basic costumes can be used for any area of the world during the Middle Ages. |
